Sport Parkinson's golf calendar 2024

More and more people with a Parkinson’s diagnosis are venturing onto the golf course to exercise as a means of alleviating Parkinson’s symptoms – “exercise does what medicine can't".

The game of golf also provides a fantastic platform for the PD (golf) community to socialise, creating shared experiences & memories whilst keeping active.

Sport Parkinson’s long-term goal is to provide access to golf for everyone with Parkinson’s Disease.  Therefore, we have created an exciting calendar of golf activity for 2023!

To attend one of our events please click the RSVP buttons below to register your interest and one of the team will be in touch.

What golfers said about last years tournament

"Having participated in many golf tournaments and charity days this one stands out as the highlight in the calendar. From the two course meal post round, to the live scoring devices, to the numerous comps like beat the pro, they have thought of it all. It’s a great day!"

John Spendiff, Director of Sales Operations, Tek Systems

The Sport Parkinson's Golf Tournament @ Surbiton Golf Club is a great day out supporting a brilliant charity.  There is great mix of people that turn up to compete and the club and staff are very welcoming, I highly recommend putting in a team if you get the chance.

Tim Turner, Lmax

“Year on year this tournament has become bigger and better. Held at Surbiton Golf Club you get the opportunity to play the beautifully manicured traditional parkland golf course with some of the country’s best greens. From arrival, to the short game clinic, first tee announcements by Sky Sports legend Dave Clark, on course entertainment and charity auction, there really is so much going on. Lots of big ticket prizes and some truly unique auction items are worth turning up for alone. So….quite what 2023 will bring is really very exciting!!”

Peter Roberts, Surbiton Golf Club Professional

Friday 14th July - Official Opening of the SP Golf Hub @ Surbiton GC
Tuesday 10th & Wednesday 11th October - Four Nations Tournament
What golfers said about last years tournament

“Having played in last year's Four Nations Tournament, I cannot wait for this year and to win that trophy! Looking forward to seeing everyone for a fun filled couple of days!!” Shaun Udal, England cricketer

“Charlies vision became reality three years ago when the inaugural Four Nations Tournament took place.  A truly humbling event that has created likeminded friends for life. Every PD journey is personal and we all face different battles on a daily basis, but I was and remain in awe of each and every one of you, demonstrating courage determination and skill.  This year I have the honour to Captain the England team, which sits up there as one of my sporting highlights.  Our focus over the two days is to ensure we embrace the spirit of the tournament with a steadfast determination to be the victorious nations. Good luck one and all” Ian Giles, England Captain 2023
