What is corporate sponsorship?

A corporate sponsor is a business that chooses to support an organisation, charity or event through financial support, services, expertise, resources or a combination of these.

For Sport Parkinson’s, corporate sponsorship can make a huge difference. It helps us cover the costs involved in delivering our events, from venues and equipment to staffing, activities and all the practical elements that go into creating a safe, welcoming and memorable experience for our community.

Quite simply, without the support of our sponsors, we wouldn’t be able to deliver many of the events and opportunities that our community enjoys.

What does corporate sponsorship look like?

Sponsorship doesn't always mean simply writing a cheque. It can take many different forms. A business might become a headline sponsor of an event by providing equipment or services, supporting a particular activity, contribute staff time and expertise, or help us promote an event to a wider audience.

For businesses, it is also an opportunity to make a genuine difference while connecting their brand with something meaningful.

Our 5 Nations Golf Tournament is a great example.

We are incredibly grateful to ROC Search and Ranmore Group, who are our headline sponsors for this year’s tournament.

Their support is helping us deliver an event on a scale that brings our community together for a fantastic few days of golf, activity, friendship and fun at the infamous The Belfry. Without sponsorship such as this, we simply wouldn't be able to run events like the 5 Nations Golf Tournament for our community.

Why should businesses have a charity or organisation of choice?
